Jack Beyda
PRESIDENT
Jack Beyda is the founder and president of Boss Equities. Jack is responsible for and oversees all aspects of the company, including sourcing and negotiating new deals, as well as managing Boss Equities' existing projects.
A graduate of NYU Stern School of Business, Jack started his career in the retail business where he served as the Vice President of a family-owned chain of discount variety stores. During his time at the chain (which at one point consisted of 20 stores throughout the east coast), Jack oversaw product purchases, merchandise management, as well as site selection for new stores. Under Jack’s oversight, the company began acquiring buildings in retail markets it understood. Through this process, Jack became familiar with the retail real estate market from both an owner’s and retailer’s perspective.
After successfully repositioning many real estate properties throughout his career in retail, Jack decided to hone his skills by dedicating himself fully to the commercial real estate industry. Jack went on to work at Aurora Capital Associates, one of NYC’s prominent retail and office developers, where he was involved in many of the company’s acquisitions. He later ventured out to start his own firm, Boss Equities.
As the founder of Boss Equities, Jack utilizes the lessons and ideas he’s acquired throughout his career. He continues to think like a retailer, and strives to analyze any building purchase as if he were in the tenant’s shoes. Through his experience and relationships, Jack looks to transform Boss Equities into one of NYC’s finest boutique investment and development firms.
